Broods consists of sibling duo Georgia and Caleb Nott from Nelson, New Zealand. The group was formed in early 2013 in Auckland. That was when they began working with their producer, Joel Little (who also produced Lorde's hit single, "Royals"). The brother-sister duo released their first single in October 2013 titled "Bridges" . The song debuted at No. 8 on the New Zealand Single Chart in January 2014 and was chosen as the iTunes Single of the Week in February 2014. The siblings signed with Capitol Records worldwide and Polydor in the UK and Europe in December of 2013. Their self-titled EP was released in January 2014 and featured 5 songs including "Bridges". They released their full length album titled "Evergreen" eight moths later in August. It features eleven tracks including "Mother and Father, Bridges, and L.A.F".
